The Richard Pither Trophy was won by Bird in Hand, who beat North Star 9 – 7 , and the Team Trophy was won by Ivy Leaf B, who beat Craufurd Crusaders 11 – 5. Congratulations to both winners.

Please note, next week’s Finals night will be at the Ivy Leaf Club, and not at NMSC, as previously listed.

Bourne End crib team will be returning to Bourne End Community Centre as their venue with immediate effect. Their first home game is against Craufurd Buccaneers on Monday 26th of January. A reminder that the address is:

Fixtures for the 2025-2026 season are now on the website, including the 4 rounds of the new Cup format. For those who couldn’t attend the AGM, because there are only 18 league games this season all teams will play 4 rounds of Cup matches and a Cup mini-league will be created. After the 4 rounds have been played, the first 4 placed teams will compete for the Richard Pither Cup semi-finals and teams from 5th to 8th will play in the Team Trophy semi-finals.

I have adjusted the final League Table to account for the two remaining postponed games, namely Bourne End v Bird in Hand and Craufurd Buccaneers v Bourne End, both of which have been assumed to be draws. This had made no difference to the previously reported league positions.
